Infocast wins the 2020 HKEX Market Data Award
On 19th November 2020, Hong Kong Exchanges & Clearing Limited (HKEX) hosted its Market Data Awards ceremony, and awarded Infocast Limited with the coveted Excellent Full Services Vendor Award. This prize is presented to outstanding licensed information vendors (IV) for their contributions towards market data services in Hong Kong.
Mr. Robert Tam, Infocast’s Director, attended the ceremony and received the award on behalf of the company. In acceptance, he remarked that the award reflected Infocast’s ongoing efforts and experience in distributing stock market information throughout its products and services. As a licensed IV, market data played a key role in Infocast’s market data and trading terminals, mobile investment applications, financial information portal services and banking-grade enterprise solutions.
Looking further afield, Infocast also provides banks, brokerages and other types of financial institutions with multiple markets data, supporting overseas markets including the Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect, Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect, US stocks, as well as the key indices of many major foreign exchanges. Mr. Tam also noted that many firms are increasingly engaged in market data analytics, and that Infocast has already developed systems to meet this need, such as advanced visual chart analytics, data-driven smart stock recommendations and multiple types of investment analysis tools.
